We operate an e-shop on the website www.thegreat.sk

 

When providing our services, selling goods and operating our website, we process some personal data.

 

The processing of personal data is governed in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) ("GDPR").

  1. Processing of personal data when using the contact form

 

If you contact us in connection with our products and services, we will work with your contact details, which you will communicate to us, mainly via the contact form. It is personal data to the extent of: name and surname, email

 

 For what reasons?

Based on the personal data sent, we will then contact you in connection with our offer of goods and services.

 

On what legal basis?

This is processing on the basis of Article 6 para. 1 letter b) GDPR – performance of the contract or implementation of pre-contractual measures at your request.

If you do not provide us with this personal data, we will not be able to communicate with you for the purpose of concluding a contract for the delivery of our goods or the provision of our services.

 

How long will we process personal data?

Until we establish further cooperation, we will process your personal data for a maximum of 24 months from our last communication.

 

II. Processing of personal data in case of purchase

 

If you make a purchase with us, we will work with the personal data we need from you to ensure the conclusion of a contract for the provision of our goods or services. These are mainly billing details: name, surname, address, company and contact details

 

 For what reasons?

We need to process personal data in order to fulfil our obligations under the contract – delivery of goods or provision of services. Using your contact details, we will also communicate with you regarding the status of your order, or regarding complaints or your questions.

 

We will further process personal data to fulfil our obligations arising from generally binding legal regulations (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, or for the settlement of complaints and others).

 

On what legal basis do we process personal data?

This is processing on the basis of Article 6 para. 1 letter b) of the GDPR – performance of the contract and Article 6 para. 1 letter c) GDPR – fulfilment of our legal obligation.

If you do not provide us with this personal data, we will not be able to conclude a contract with you for the delivery of our goods or the provision of our services.

 

How long will we process personal data?

During the delivery of goods or provision of services and then 24 months after the last provision of such services or provision of goods.

 

III. Newsletter (commercial communication)

If you have purchased goods or services from us and have not expressly opted out of receiving marketing communications from us, we will use your email address to send you our marketing communications.

 

On what legal basis?

This is processing on the basis of Article 6 para. 1 letter f) GDPR – our legitimate interests, which are marketing communications targeted at our customers.

 

How long will we process personal data?

2 years since your last purchase. If you no longer wish to receive our marketing communications, you can unsubscribe at any time by email or you can contact us by email: info@thegreat.sk

 

IV. Who gets access to the data?

 

Your personal data will remain with us. Nevertheless, some companies or other persons who have access to your personal data work for us because they help us with the operation of our e-shop. These are:

 

  • the operator of the Shoptet e-shop platform (Shoptet a.s., with its registered office at Dvořeckého 628/8, Břevnov, 169 00, Prague 6, Czech Republic, Company ID: 289 35 675, registered at the Municipal Court in Prague, Section B, Insert 25395
  • companies involved in the dispatch of goods (DPD Slovakia)
  • companies involved in the dispatch of payments (TATRA BANKA a.s., SHOPTET pay, DPD Slovakia)
  • email service provider (Shoptet a.s.)
  • marketing agency ()
  • Accounting (EK-PAL s.r.o.)

 

We process personal data only on the territory of the European Union.

The GDPR gives you, among other things, the right to contact us and request information about what personal data we process, request access to this data from us and have it updated or corrected, or request processing restrictions, you can request a copy of the personal data processed, request deletion of personal data from us in certain situations and, in certain cases, you have the right to their portability. It is possible to object to the processing on the basis of a legitimate interest.

 

If you think that we are not handling the data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic in our jurisdiction, or to apply to the court.
